Insulation and paint are a build-up
Name the insulation thickness, the base coat, and the finish coat if the specification exists. If it does not, send the wall type: concrete, block, or a substrate already on the drawing. The decoration page carries the same draft note.
Where the coating stops
Coating usually stops at the curtain-wall perimeter, at a stone pier, or at a movement joint. Mark that line on the elevation. An unlabelled facade area will be priced twice or missed.
Colour batch and repair
Coatings from different batches do not match on a long facade. Ask for the batch size and for how a scaffold-tie hole is repaired. A colour name without a sample on the same substrate is not a match standard.
