Louvers and light wells inside a window package
Hefei Meike Mansion is a window-and-louver package. Qingchuan Yayuan adds light wells and glass canopies to the window title.
Related scope
Aluminum windows and doors
Supply and installation of aluminum windows and doors for residential plots, including louvers where the package calls for them.
Name the extra scope in the title
If louvers, light wells, or a glass canopy are in the same contract as the windows, list them. If they are a later instruction, they will be measured as extra work. The performance table keeps those words in the project name when they were part of the deal.
Drawings that keep the area honest
A louver is not the same square metre as a window. A light well is not the same as a canopy. Send the elevation that was used to count each. The table’s area column is headed window and door area even when the name includes these extras.
Fixed blade or operable blade
A fixed louver and an operable louver do not share a rate or a drainage detail. Say which floors are screened for plant rooms and which are only architectural. The light-well glass, if any, needs its own build-up and is not the apartment window glass.
