Thickness is the quantity
Insulation boards are measured by area and by thickness. Paint is measured by area and by the number of coats. Write both. A product colour chip does not state the thickness.
Scaffold and sequence
Coating usually follows the window installation and stops at the curtain wall. Say whether the scaffold is already on site or is part of this package. That decides the programme more than the colour.
Fire class of the insulation
Exterior insulation is not chosen only by thickness. Ask for the fire classification the wall specification requires, and whether a fire barrier is needed at each floor. A thickness without that class cannot be ordered.
